Household Services are designed to help veterans maintain a safe and comfortable home when their service-related injuries or illnesses prevent them from performing domestic tasks. These services support independence and reduce the risk of injury or strain.

Eligibility
You may be eligible for Household Services if you:
- Have an accepted service-related medical condition that limits your ability to perform household tasks
- Have functional restrictions confirmed by a GP or allied health provider
- Hold a DVA White or Gold Card
- Have been assessed by DVA or an allied health professional as needing domestic support

- Support with lawn mowing, gardening, and basic home maintenance
- Tailored to individual needs through an approved DVA service provider
- May be short-term or long-term depending on medical assessment
